Pumpkin rolls over and smiles at Iris. “Good morning to you, too.” He greets sleepily.
"How did you sleep?" she asked, smiling faintly.
"I slept really well! How’d you sleep, Iris, love?" Pumpkin replies.
"I slept well," she said, yawning and stretching slightly before nestling back under the covers.
"Good." He says, snuggling with her.
Iris laughed softly, snuggling against him. “Hmm…you’re comfy,” she mumbled sleepily, smiling faintly.
Iris’ eyes narrowed as she eyed the woman. “Wouldn’t that be something, hmm? Now tell me, how much would you be offering for a good night’s rest? Or would you just like me to give you two numbers so you can pick the highest one?”
A laugh ripped out of Keira before she could suppress it and she let it run its course, shaking her head lightly. “Oh, no, no, no numbers, unless you count maybe…” She eyed this potential customer, eyed the door, the people idly passing by. “Weeks, I think maybe three weeks ought to cover one night of good sleep, if your dreams are as bad as you say.” She leaned a bit more over the counter “How does three weeks off your life sound?”
"Ah, so that’s what you are," she sighed bitterly, shaking her head slightly. "Of course…" Iris eyed the woman in front of her before shrugging slightly. "Honestly, I suppose it’s not the worst, I’ve tried to shorten it more than that," she added bitterly, rolling her eyes. "You must be desperate if you’ll offer a deal to anyone. How sad for you."
